Berlioz Poster

Poster design advertising a series of lecture talks on Louis Hector Berlioz.
When thinking about the design, i was considering the way in which the poster would be positioned and seen by it audience. This idea of the poster only really making sense when it is pasted up in multiples side-by-side, was inspired by the way that fly posting often involves many identical posters taking over an entire strech of wall. Although, the design also refers to Berlioz himself, as he was a pioneer in utilizing large scale orchestras (over 1000 musicians). The large number of posters used to display the event reflects the way in which Berlioz used a large number of musicians to perform his music.
